Camille falls on her nose. A silly fall, apparently benign, but Camille feels her nose moving, pushing inside. She fears to look like Fabio and his big mosquito body or to her grandmother deformed by the disease. The fear of losing shape.
MEET THE FILMMAKER: ANNE BROUILLET
Anne Brouillet spent her childhood in Germany. After studying literature and philosophy, she taught French in a high school in Seine-Saint-Denis, then joined the script department of La Femis. Meanwhile, she conducted a research work about improvisation in the Nouvelle Vague cinema, directed a short film, Trou, and co-directed two short films: Goulu and Gigots. Then, she spent a few months in residence at the Villa Medici where she worked on a medium-length animated film with Cécile Paysant. Back in Paris, she co-wrote short and feature films with William Laboury, Marine Atlan, Julien Samani, Yoon Youngchoi, Guillaume Brac and Maryam Goormaghtigh. In 2020, released Bumpy Fieds, her first produced short narrative film. The movie received prizes in several major french film festivals, such as the Jury Prize at The Premiers Plans Film Festival of Angers and the Original Score Prize at the Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand. Her first feature as a director – Devenir Propriétaire – received CNC writing grant and was selected to the Atelier d'Angers script development program.
