Esma and Serpil are two young girls living in a village of Bingöl, a province in Eastern Anatolia. From a book the two learn that there are children in Africa who are starving. So they leave on an adventure to save those children and tell them about the Gold Mountain.

Hasan SERİN


After graduating from Kadıköy Anatolian High School, Hasan Serin studied Radio, Cinema and TV at Yeditepe University. His first short film “Ağrı ve Dağ” competed at the 64th Berlin Film Festival in the Generation section. He received awards from many international festivals. His second short film “Baran” had its world premiere at the Sao Paulo Film Festival.


Hasan Serin received Best Short Film Award at the Boston Turkish Festival’s Documentary and Short Film Competition in 2014.
