A young man is forced to question his life decisions after being confined to house arrest but his patience wears thin as his mental health begins to dwindle.

A Close Eye

This is the story of an African American family for whom the mother is a 19 year police veteran. Her oldest son is killed by another officer on the same police force who subsequently gets off for the murder. The story picks up on her first day back to work and deals with the emotions that she is feeling. Does she belong? Does she still want to be a cop? How does her family feel; her husband and younger son? As she navigates her emotions she runs into the killer of her son as he is gathering his things and being reassigned to another district setting the stage for her long awaited confrontation. This emotional drama is a journey through the healing of the human spirit and the unwavering strength of family.

Set in the Bay Area in 2019 against the backdrop of the tech industry, Bit. explores crossroads where dreaming lucidly meets surreal adversity. Emotive, cinematic, and grounded in humorous characters, Bit. reflects a journal entry into this country’s progressive, yet contrarian culture -- a confederation of privilege and marginalization under the same umbrella.
