Bit. is an off-beat comedy that follows the life of a Black entrepreneur and his 2 friends as they try to navigate the polarizing world of Silicon Valley. Each has chosen different paths that have not only put deep rifts in their relationships, but coupled with their blackness, have also put them at odds with the world around them. On paths of self-discovery and pursuit of success, they quickly come to understand that the kushy world of tech, free food, and big dreams is far from what they’d imagined. Set in the Bay Area in 2019 against the backdrop of the tech industry, Bit. explores crossroads where dreaming lucidly meets surreal adversity. Emotive, cinematic, and grounded in humorous characters, Bit. reflects a journal entry into this country’s progressive, yet contrarian culture -- a confederation of privilege and marginalization under the same umbrella.
