These video poems are portals into ourselves and others where new associations and unexpected connections are crafted. We are suspended in the gravity of these pieces, our feet never quite touching solid ground as our emotional core soars. Using erasure, installation, tableaux, anthropomorphism, and live music, this showcase traverses the conscious, unconscious, and subconscious to imagine the multitude of pathways through reality. A short poetry film on Super 8 that retraces the depth of emotion in heartbreak. Healing Queen is the first of a series, "Euridice towards the light," which is inspired by the mythology of Euridice trying to grab Orpheus out of the darkness. The project is a visualization of nine poems written by Pauline Raybaud, interpreted by actress Eleejah Noah.
