A FRAGMENTED QUARANTINE DREAM
A night in the life of Quarantine 2020 was captured. A tiny destination ski town, nestled in mountains had completely shut down. All businesses closed; the streets sat empty. During this initial stage of global pandemic, much was unknown. There is a bittersweet feeling of delight and fantastical sense of disbelief. In this suspended reality, I danced.

Vicki idolizes her new girlfriend Samantha, but draws the line when it comes to her time on the porcelain throne.

THE BLUE BED


Zahra is a middle-aged woman who visits a temporary marriage agency and hires a young working girl. She picks her up to take her home but the girl, who has never had a female client before, becomes suspicious of Zahra’s intent and sexual orientation.


In Farsi with English subtitles.


Director Bio

In the last 20 years, he has collaborated in more than 22 TV-series (more than 600 episodes), 3 features, and 14 teleplays as a creator, writer, head-writer or co-writer in different genres e.g. drama, comedy, horror, and thriller and has obtained some important national awards.


In 2010, Alireza Kazemipour got his master's degree in Cinema directing from faculty of art at the University of Tehran and directed his first short film ""Slowness"". It was accepted in a number of national film festivals and also in Third Eye Film Festival in Mumbai (2011).

Recently, he has directed a short film called "" The Blue Bed"" and a documentary feature film that is under production.
