Three intrepid women set sail on a 350-mile expedition through Alaska’s massive Tongass National Forest, exploring how clearcut logging in this coastal rainforest affects wildlife, local communities, and our planet’s climate.

Colin Arisman got his start with filmmaking when he hiked the 2,650 mile Pacific Crest Trail with a camera in hand. Today as a non-fiction filmmaker, photographer, and writer, Colin continues to be drawn to wide-open spaces and wild critters. His visual storytelling focuses on outdoor culture, backcountry recreation, ecology, conservation, wild foods, and rural communities.
