Tzipora lives with her mother and younger sister, Sarah, in the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn. On a Sunday trip to the barn with Monica, their father’s new non-Jewish girlfriend, Tzipora is exposed to an entirely unfamiliar and enticing world. While she desperately wants to engage with it, she is held back by Sarah’s reluctance and her own sense of tradition.
