Dawn Luebbe

Dawn Luebbe is an Independent Spirit Award-nominated writer and director based in Los Angeles. She is best known for her debut feature, GREENER GRASS, which she co-wrote and co-directed with Jocelyn DeBoer. Variety deemed the film, “The most pleasant surprise of this year’s Sundance” following its 2019 world premiere there. The film was distributed by IFC Midnight and is currently streaming on Hulu. Dawn has co-directed two episodes of TruTV’s “Adam Ruins Everything” and has made three short films which have appeared in over 70 film festivals, receiving numerous awards including the Jury Award for Writing at the 2017 SXSW Film Festival. A veteran performer at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Dawn has appeared in HBO’s HIGH MAINTENANCE and the SXSW arm-wrestling feature, GOLDEN ARM. As a writer, she has published a book of comedic essays and preteen diary entries, MY 1992 DIARY, with Abrams Books.
