ITCHY THE CAMEL: TENNIS

THE DUKHA
In the remote taiga of northern Mongolia live The Dukha, one of the last groups of nomadic reindeer herders in the world. Tuvshuu is five years old. With fewer than 40 Dukha families left in the world, Tuvshuu has some big decisions ahead.

A fluffy white cat wants nothing more than to find the most comfortable spot in the universe, but little does she know, someone else has their eye on it, too.
SOMETHING BORROWED
An old woman can’t find the right words. But when she lends her pen to a hopeless chap, it’s more than words that elude her.

KIKO AND THE ANIMALS
Kiko is a nightmare for all the animals. How can the animals stand up, make him understand that they are just like him: capable of emotions and love?
STEP BY STEP
A little rain boot wakes up on a river’s side. On her journey through the forest she would overcome any obstacles to find her way back home. On the road she faces many events that will make her grow.
INK
In this ultrashort animated film, we follow an octopus who is a neat freak. But sometimes, even though you have so many arms, you still cannot reach what you are aiming for.
DRY SEA
In this animated film, a fisherman is left alone on the shore of a dried-out sea. He is stuck in the past until a sandstorm overtakes him and redefines the meaning of his existence.
BEMOL
The featherless nightingale sings in the forest. His birdsong soothes the little bear who is having trouble sleeping, calms the squabbling squirrels and entertains the pair of swans swimming in the pond.
NERVOUS
A nervous dog faces her worst fear when she’s dropped off at doggy daycare for the first time: other dogs!

Attempting to put pen to paper, a sweet old woman can’t find the right words for an anniversary card. But when her thoughts are interrupted, she finds herself lending her beloved pen to a hopeless young chap. In a whirlwind chase from windy cliffs to stormy piers, she struggles to reach him. A funicular ride and a bag of chips later, she realizes it’s more than just words that elude her.


Micky Wozny

Originally from Nottinghamshire, Micky Wozny studied animation at university before working as an animator in Sheffield, winning several awards. Having a passion for storytelling and character animation, she yearned for a way to bring her own ideas to life.


Deciding to leap back into education, she successfully applied to the MA Directing Animation course at the National Film and Television School. Whilst at the NFTS, she directed MAX (2018), DOTS (2018), LET HER RIP (2019), and the award-winning short SOMETHING BORROWED (2020). 


Currently, Micky is directing a BFI-funded 2D animated short, and animating on BBC’s JOJO & GRAN GRAN. She’s passionate about rich and authentic storytelling and is eager to bring stronger female roles to the forefront of animated media."
