The spectacular aesthetic dimension of arctic nautical travel will certainly be the defining trait of the visual narration of the story. Travel the sea, glaciers, and the complex atmospheric conditions which the crew will have to face are perfect allegories for the multiple layers of research which the documentary wishes to articulate: for example, the research on microplastics and pollution as a perfect metaphor for how the accumulation of information does not necessarily lead to knowledge and how the accumulation of knowledge does not necessarily lead to greater understanding of phenomena.
