The film highlights his daily struggle to earn a living, given the sharp decline in demand for pottery in the age of technology and modern appliances such as refrigerators, which has brought this craft to the brink of extinction. Nevertheless, Usta Sayed refuses to abandon his art, clinging to his craft and defending his ancestors' heritage
