The Media Archeology Lab is a college-based media museum and computer laboratory run under the University of Colorado Boulder. Their primary mission is to educate and be an outlet for researchers, students, and artists alike to use their collection in a hands-on manner for their various endeavors. The lab is a significant and prevalent establishment in the CU Boulder and larger community. Founded by a professor at the college, the lab has been around for over 15 years. Technology has changed drastically over that timeframe; indeed some technology that was new at that time has since been incorporated into the lab.
