Little Birds
From a shelter near the U.S.-Mexico border, kids share their stories of crossing the border in search of a better life. Despite the fear and uncertainty of the trip, they cling to their dreams and hopes for the future. Like migratory birds, they seek a new home.
Balam
Itzel, a young girl of Mayan descent, goes on a camping trip with her father deep in the jungle. While wandering, she discovers a jaguar in captivity and, without hesitation, frees the majestic animal. As the furious poacher chases her away, Itzel stumbles upon a mysterious Mayan city. There she’ll discover a magical jaguar, a mysterious vision, and wonders unimaginable.

In southern Arizona, twenty miles from the U.S.-Mexico border, a young Indigenous girl discovers a Latina migrant her age who has been separated from her father while traveling through the Tohono O’odham Nation into the United States.
The Luggage Room (Un Cuarto de Equipaje)
Soledad, a 65-year-old Ecuadorian immigrant, is collecting gifts to send to her family. As she sorts through the mountain of mementos and photos inside her small room, she relives memories of her loved ones in a lovely walk down memory lane.
Vertiente de Agua Tibia
Sofia, a young trumpeter, prepares herself for a reunion with her childhood friend Paula. Fearing that their bond may have faded, Sofia revisits their memories to give Paula a welcoming gift—a song.

These Spanish language shorts feature the journeys of those who dream. Experience musical adventures, immigration stories, and even time-travel to learn about age-old traditions, lost cities, and lessons that teach us more about who we are today.
