Looking Back with Pride centers around queer and trans individuals in their 60s and 70s. David (75), Peggy (73), Ted (71), and Adele (69) reflect on their memories of coming out — the remarkable change they’ve witnessed in their lifetimes.&nbsp; Living through social changes from Stonewall riots in 1969 — to the first Pride marches of the 70s — we listen to their accounts of what it was like to live through it all.

Southern Sorceresses uses the direct interaction and staging of seven LGBTQI+ sisters on the streets of downtown São Paulo as devices for a cinematic experience that seeks to provoke and reflect on the history of prejudice in Brazil. At the heart of this polyphonic narrative is the importance of political alliances between the Black, Indigenous, LGBTQI+, and urban occupation movements of homeless workers. Southern Sorceresses

Teenagers and adults share their personal stories of gender discrimination and how it has affected their mental health.&nbsp; What’s Gender Got to Do With It focuses on the queer community, where activists working to end discrimination based on gender identity and gender expression discuss their methods for changing minds, behaviors, and social structures. The documentary also looks at how social media plays a part in spreading stereotypes about gender roles — as well as how it can be used as a tool for social change.

All Black Lives Matter

An immigrant boy’s arrival in Italy is not immediately welcomed, but his altruism and his desire to be himself at the services of those who need support or a smile gives him new friendships and the respect of those around him. Set to Matteo Faustini’s song, “Il gobbo,” The Hunchback —&nbsp;made in collaboration with the association “Bullistop” — is the battle against racism, homophobia, and bullying.
