FÁBULA
Ana and her daughter Maria are trapped in an abusive relationship with husband and father Kevin, a physically harmful alcoholic. A mysterious book falls out of Maria's closet, a book her mother recognizes from a bedtime story her own father told her of ancient magical protectors summoned through writing. When Kevin seriously hurts her mother, Maria turns to the magical beings, once her grandfather's guardians, in order to protect her mother and their home.
