A young boy named Hemi is unhappy with his current life. No longer wanting to swim or follow the rules his father has set up for him and his future, Hemi decides to take action. After sneaking out one day after swim practice, Hemi makes his way to a dance studio and signs up. While there, he meets another boy in the studio and the two hit it off in a tentative flirtatious relationship. Although Hemi must hide his actions from his father, it is the happiest he's been in a long time. As things begin to get more serious within his relationship with dance and the boy, Hemi must come to face his reality.
