
Certain Party or Parties Unknown follows the creation and installation of the temporary multi-media public projection art installation, Certain Party or Parties Unknown (CPPU). CPPU furthered community dialogue about racial justice and raised awareness of three African American men who fell victim to racial terror lynching in Montgomery County in the 1880s as part of Montgomery County's Remembrance and Reconciliation Month. The film documents the project's development, including interviews with artists and producers on the topic of lynching, their personal connection to this subject, and their creative process behind developing their individual pieces that transformed into a large multi-block outdoor projection installation in downtown Rockville, MD
