The week before her due date, pregnant theater manager Kenzie looks forward to clocking out of her last night at work. First, she must say a bittersweet goodbye not only to her sleepy historic theater, but to her longtime confidant and employee, Misha. As the two friends pick up trash around the empty auditorium, Kenzie tries in vain to convince Misha to apply for her management position, a promotion that would bring the kind of responsibility that Misha hopes to avoid. The pair are soon sidetracked when they discover a forgotten bag of cash tucked beneath a seat. As Misha tries to convince mom-to-be Kenzie to keep the cash as a parting gift from the theater, each woman vies for what they believe is best for the other in this sweet slice-of-life look at a friendship in the face of immense change.
