Tom Nastick is Manager of Public Programs for the Education and Public Programs staff at the National Archives in Washington, D.C. He joined the National Archives in 1985 as a Motion Picture Projectionist. He was later promoted to Audiovisual Specialist and in 2004, coinciding with the completion of the William G. McGowan Theater, assumed responsibility for public programs in DC. He continues to lead a team of public program producers in providing a regular schedule of panel discussions, film programs, author lectures, and performances. He has a degree in Communications and Cinema Studies from The American University in Washington, D.C.
