In the past two years, climate change has gone from the backburner to the center stage. Why? It all started with a protest in Nancy Pelosi’s office in 2018, where Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Sunrise Movement helped launch the Green New Deal. It took a lot of planning, courage, and also luck to make it happen. Episode 1 features Varshini Prakash of Sunrise Movement and Waleed Shahid of Justice Democrats, who served as communication’s director during AOC’s 2018 campaign.,
