Sam Eilertsen is an accomplished cinematographer and editor as well as director of the upcoming film Israelism, which explores the American Jewish community’s shifting relationship to the Israel/Palestine conflict. After the 2016 elections he started making videos for activist groups as a volunteer, several of his videos have gone viral and been featured on MSNBC, Good Morning America, and even deceptively re-edited by Fox News.


Nate Birnbaum is an award-winning documentary producer and Co-Founder of the nonprofit American Resilience Project. Nate has produced several award-winning climate documentaries and his work has been shown extensively at film festivals, climate conventions, and prestigious research institutions across the globe. Recently, Nate has started producing Podcasts, including co-creating Generation Green New Deal, which is based on the documentary of the same name. 


Rebecca Leber is a reporter in Mother Jones’ D.C. bureau, where she covers environmental politics and policy. She’s covered climate and energy for The New Republic, Grist, and ThinkProgress, and her writing has been published by more than a dozen outlets.
