A young beauty pageant hopeful prepares to walk the stage for the first time despite the current tattoo standards while incorporating unorthodox training techniques: boxing and basketball.

Carlo is an emerging Filipino-Canadian actor and filmmaker from Vancouver, Canada. Starting his acting career in 2017, he has since been recurring on "Fire Country (CBS)", and has made appearances on "Riverdale," "The Flash" and "The Good Doctor," to name a few. Behind the lens, he stays busy taking on the roles of Producer, Director and Editor. Being a self-taught filmmaker, his goal is to continue making a splash in the independent world from both sides of the lens, telling fun but also impactful stories that might also highlight his Filipino and Asian heritage. As a DisOrient alumni, he is excited to be back and share “The 3 B’s” in the Fil-Am Shorts Program as well as see the amazing talent to be showcased at the festival.
