A. L. Lee, (she/her), NYC based filmmaker, has a BA from Eastman School of Music in violin performance and an MFA from Columbia University in screenwriting.

 

Her film “the good boy” has screened in 70+ festivals and won multiple Best Film Best Foreign Film, Best Screenplay and Best Director awards.

 

“Artemis & the Astronaut”, a film about Alzheimer’s, has won numerous awards. Best film at DisOrient FF, and at Elba Film Festival.

 

“Hot Pot”, feature screenplay was a Semifinalist in the BlueCat Screenplay Competition, Semifinalist at Cinequest Screenplay Competition, Finalist at Asian American Int’l Film Festival, Finalist at SF Indie Fest Screenplay Competition, Finalist at Toronto Int’l Women Film Festival, top 20% at Austin Screenplay Competition.
