A drama that explores the bond between two women from different worlds who find solace in each other’s struggles. Jia, a survivor of human trafficking, hides under the house of Amy, a new mother battling postpartum depression. As they share their stories of loss and hope, they discover a new sense of freedom and friendship.


Director - Aloura Melissa Charles

Aloura Charles, is the mother of a five-year-old, a surfer, a published novelist and an award winning film director and WGA writer. She mentored with Martin Scorsese and Ron Howard, went on to make her own films and was the featured filmmaker at the Colorado Indie Fest with her feature Reservations and short, La Magique Noire. Aloura’s pilot Star Sisters won the International Screenwriter’s Association Grand Prize for Genre last year, and she has projects in development at Roddenberry Entertainment and Foundation Media.
