Here are the films in the Nordic-Baltic competition for short film and young audience categories that are regional geo-blocked to the Nordic-Baltic region.

For 18-year-old Finnish–Kosovan Fatu, a simple visit to the grocery store feels as nerve-wracking as a lunar expedition: for the first time in his life, he's wearing makeup in public. Luckily, his best friend Rai, a young woman on the autism spectrum, is there to fiercely support him through the voyage.

Iiti Yli-Harja (born 1987) is a stop-motion animation artist, a documentaryist, and a musician. She graduated from Aalto University, Finland with an M.A. in 2021. Her films combine documentary material with fictional elements of stop-motion animation. She finds it valuable that even the process of making a film tries to shape the world for the better, not just the end result. Her documentary puppet animation Real Men (2020) was awarded as the best short film at Helsinki International Film Festival in 2020.
