Aino and her mother Oili are cycling to the community garden cottage. They have long colourful ribbons in their bike baskets. Oili is memorising Ainos childhood and how she was bullied by some boys. Oili tells how girl wasn't allowed to defend herself.Aino's other mom Jaana is waiting at the cottage, where they are going to celebrate Aino's and Oona's promise ceremony. Ribbons are part of the ceremony. Oili walks among the celebrating people with a videocamera and records moments from the party. Guests send their love to the couple through the camera. In addition we experience a communial moment in a toilet. We ponder the themes of body peace and we also have a conversation about attention seeking and what it means to be a girl. In the middle of a joyful celebration we wonder about growing into a woman, what it's like to be a mom and how we see and treat each other.
