This film series explores Jewish identity through stories of loss, resilience, and questioning — from the lives of Ugandan Jews to Israeli families coping with grief, faith, and trauma. The films confront themes of life and death, gender roles, and the enduring question: Why be Jewish? One of the films features a performance by an Ophir Award winner for Best Lead Actor, adding further depth to this powerful collection.

Lily and Keren, best friends bound by music and dance, are separated on the morning of the October 7 terror attack in Israel. While trapped in a shelter and unable to reach Keren, who was at the Nova festival, Lily is consumed by fear and retreats into a dreamlike world where music intertwines with loneliness and grief.
