Director Statement
As a director and film student at DkIT, my fascination with the concept of identity and duality inspired me to create "Echo." The story follows Mia, a woman trapped in a monotonous life who discovers a mirror containing a version of herself with the power to switch places. This narrative allowed me to delve into themes of self-discovery, the allure of escapism, and the complexities of our personal agreements. "Echo" challenges viewers to consider the consequences of outsourcing our responsibilities and the potential dangers of tampering with our own reality. My aim is to create a thought-provoking experience that blends psychological suspense with emotional depth, inviting audiences to reflect on their own lives and choices.
