Director Biography - Christina Shen, Eugene Ko
Eugene Ko is a Korean-American writer/filmmaker who graduated Stanford University with a dual degree in Art history and Creative Writing. With over ten years of experience in filmmaking, his previous works include “Ramen” and “Pastor,” both stories that center on Korean American experiences. Now based in Los Angeles, he is currently working to assist other filmmakers in tandem with continuing his work as a writer/director.
Christina Shen is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Art History at the Institute of Fine Arts in New York. She has worked with a wide range of artistic media, including painting, photography, and sculpture. She is motivated by stories of diaspora, intergenerationality, and celebrations of intimacy in the everyday, which she hopes to explore as she ventures into the world of narrative film.
