Director Biography - Cameron F Sun
Cameron Sun is a Chinese American filmmaker. He spent his childhood and adolescence bouncing between the United States and China, having lived in New York City, Shanghai and Minnesota. His love for movies began in childhood through a combo of Hong Kong action cinema and Pixar animated films. He's passionate about creating genre films that explore Asian American identity, and cross cultural understanding.
He graduated from NYU Tisch in 2016. His horror short film The Hangman, premiered at Screamfest Horror Film Festival, and won Best Horror/Thriller Film at Glendale International Film Festival. His action short films Spider-Chan and John Witch won back to back Best Fan Film awards at Urban Action Showcase.
