Sheila calls on her brave husband Dan for help when she spots a cockroach in their bathroom. But when the roach flies, Dan loses all sense and imagines that the roach is a kung-fu master who he must fight with all his might to protect his defenceless wife. After observing Dan’s approach to tackling the roach problem, Sheila decides to handle the pest herself. In the end, Dan still takes all the credit.

Celflux is a superhero, sci-fi, graphic novel &amp; animated series, about OKIRA. A young, benevolent, kind-hearted priestess who becomes the involuntary leader of a disjointed group of strangers. Though unprepared for the challenges she's about to face, she's determined to meet them head-on. Dir. Statement// When I was little I would hurry home after school because I knew that one of my favourite shows would be coming on at a certain time and I didn’t want to miss a minute of it. I would get home and take up my position in front of the television and it was understood that for the next 30 minutes I was not to be disturbed. When the show started the screen would go completely red and then the symbol of a cat would appear. I would lose my mind. That show was Thundercats (1985). This wasn’t my first experience with cartoons and animation. Oh no. This had been my pattern of behaviour for a very long time and still is up till today.I taught myself how to animate in order to work on the Celflux project. I have a saying "When you have a burning desire to create, you find a way to make it happen." The Celflux project is the most ambitious thing I have ever done but it has been a great experience. It is definitely a labour of love and we're hoping that the story resonates with anyone who sees it.

Statement// Luring us into believing that we're watching two lovers who are chatting by webcam, REFLEXION is a story describing the hunger for human connection that we all felt during the coronavirus quarantine of 2020. Thrown into an exceedingly difficult trial. forced to maintain social distancing in order to keep the death toll the lowest possible, we lost something we always took for granted: human connection. Never before, did we appreciate the importance of human connection in our lives. Pushed to lose ourselves into chat, social networks, games, netflix, art, music and any other distraction to fill this void, so many of us were left miserable, on the edge of insanity, lost in depression and lusting for human proximity. Like the protagonist standing up in front of his mirror, fantasizing for the ideal human connection, in a world where socializing became a crime. Based on how many felt, on how many went through this journey that will change mankind forever, my film "REFLEXION", entirely written and created during quarantine, is a very simple representation of the journey mankind went through in 2020.
