Gather 'round, kids, it's time for the Dusky Panther 5 Minute Variety Hour! Hosted by a clueless nature photographer, this week's episode follows the pink squirrel Paige, as she tries to prove to her friends that there's a stockload of acorns on the moon.

Catnap is a two-dimensional animated short film inspired by classic cartoons from the 1940s and uses some of the visual comic jokes from that era. Catnap features a cat named Benny who wants to return to his kitty dreamland but a dog named Jack obliviously disturbs Benny through silly antics. The story was inspired by Carrie Runyan's cat, Benny, who has a sweet face but makes expressions like 'Why do we have a dog,' and her dog, Jack, who accidentally steps on Benny because he lacks self-awareness.

After a family tragedy, a mother learns how to persevere with the help of family and community.

At an all-time low in her personal and professional life, young architect Charlotte stumbles upon a mysterious structure in her backyard on her underwhelming birthday ‚Äî a fairy house. The house pulls her into a magical dimension ‚Äì part memory, part dream ‚Äì reminding her of the love and imagination she knew before the disappointment of growing up. Returning to the real world, she unleashes her frustration at her well-intending but imperfect partner, immediately regretting the outburst. She finds relief and reconnection with her partner, her inner child, and her present dreams by building a fairy home of her own.
A debut film by femme + they/them student filmmakers in a collaboration between the College of Communication and School of Theatre at Boston University. Filmed in Arlington and Allston, MA.
