Green Blood is the result of a collaborative investigation into the practices of three mining companies operating in Tanzania, India and Guatemala. This documentary is a behind-the-scenes account of this incredible collaboration.

The Green Blood project journalists uncover the names of dozens of international companies that have purchased sand ores illegally mined in India. They will question their leaders in Europe and the United States. In Guatemala, the investigation is tightening up on a judge with a sulfurous reputation, who tries by all means to prevent the Mayan journalist Carlos Choc from continuing his investigation into the nickel mine. A few weeks before publication, the collective of journalists has a crucial objective: to identify the electronics giants who use gold from Tanzania to manufacture the components of their mobile phones and tablets. In the newsroom it is a race against the clock. Until the last minute, journalists edit the articles they will publish simultaneously in 35 medias around the world.
