Living in a refugee camp where basic personal hygiene has become a luxury, Ghazaal, a resourceful teenager, is on a mission to survive the onset of her menstrual period.

With a humanistic lens, the film shines an intimate light into the tumultuous psyche of a spirited young person on the cusp of transformation. Pragmatist and resilient, Ghazaal is determined to navigate the impending adult world she’s entering, while her tender soul still longs for a childhood that dissipated too soon.
