Commercial: A crook try to sell a crappy piano to some lady

Director Statement:

What's the point of going to a shop when everything is available on the web ?

That was the first question I asked myself when I've been contacted to make an ad for a small town piano shop in a small city close to Bordeaux. I was having a hard time answering this question but soon another question came to my mind: How come that kind of shop still exists and sells? it's some kind of David against Goliath struggle after all, Pianos Reversé against Thomann or Amazon.

I went to meet the owner of the shop and the answer revealed itself quickly . He showed me the whole shop and he played on every piano he had to show me differences of sound between instrument and telling me everything he knew about the various brands. He had knowledge and skills !!! Things you won't find on product pictures on the web especially when it comes to music.

So my first argument would be to go to a real specialist and I had now to find a way to prompt consumers to get to a real seller who are often more expensive than big marketplaces.

And I called upon: FEAR ! We all have been disappointed by something we ordered through the web, but the biggest scams I've heard about came from online websites gathering small ads which are often a crook landmark (at least in France).

In the end I had my statement: "You can save money and play Russian roulette or you can go to a real specialist". I think it makes sense when it comes to pianos, it's not like we're buying a pair of napkins.

A word about the crook character inspiration. It's simple, I met loads of pathological liar in my life, this character is just a condensate of all this people!
