Aunties, Uncles, Leaders - these are people whose life's work have contributed to the future fabric of the Indigenous world. By striving to maintain their families, their communities, their Indigenous ways of life, these people have transformed the worlds around them. Be inspired by their stories.



These shorts programs may differentiate from the shorts programs presented at our in-person festival screenings due to the various geoblocking restraints on each film.




A short documentary covering the long and storied career of Erroll Kinistino as he recounts his roots in activism and an artistic upbringing that led him into the world of entertainment, and his journey through the worlds of theatre, music, and the arts.



Jimi (James) Leigh Kinistino is an Indigenous Turtle Island–based cinematographer, director, Canadian Screen Award-winning editor, and filmmaker from the Treaty 4 Ochapowace Nation.
