Despite the odds, these women find ways to persevere and stay true to themselves.

Scotland, 1662. Fear and suspicion have run rampant across the country, due to the terrible witch trials that have already claimed hundreds of lives; and even moreso, the notorious witch prickers who are paid to apprehend these alleged witches. John Dickson is one such witch pricker, contracted to hunt down a cottar’s wife named Isobel Gowdie, who has been accused of malicious deeds and witchcraft. Upon finding and detaining Gowdie, Dickson is forced to confront his own cruel acts, as well as the dark secrets he has long since been running from. He cannot hide from his true self forever.

Filmmakers are scheduled to be in attendance at screenings on April 25th and April 27th.
