‘Nando’ is a 10-year-old boy from the Mangueira favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - which sits just across the street from the biggest stadium in Brazil: Maracanã. The stark contrast between the realities of Mangueira and the luxury of the Maracanã shows the harsh disconnect between these two worlds.
