Humboldt Archipelago, Paradise in Danger - 28 min

United States Premiere

Humboldt Archipelago, paradise in danger, an unprecedented documentary about the conflict of the mega mining project Dominga and its possible consequences on one of the places with most biodiversity in continental Chile, and also considered a place of global importance.

Decreed as a Hope Spot hope for the oceans of the world by Mission Blue, The Humboldt Archipelago, which is composed by a series of islands and islets that extend from Caleta Hornos, North of La Serena in the region of Coquimbo, to Caleta Chañaral de Aceituno, at the South end of the Atacama region, in the north center of the country.

This natural laboratory, tourism pole and incubator of life needs to be made visible, now more than ever. This is why, in an absolutely independent and free way, with incredible images of marine wildlife along with the voice of recognized scientists and fishermen, an honest, direct and forceful story is woven. It is a must-see to be informed and become aware of the importance we all have in saving this unique and unrepeatable natural heritage.
