From standing up to homophobia to exploring identities and defiantly transitioning despite all obstacles, these films explore the challenges – and celebrate the victories - of existing while black and queer.

Between melanin and distant planets, BLACKN3SS dives into the journey of the black youth of São Paulo. Merging interviews and performances, the movie presents the aesthetics of those who accept, recognize and comprehend their own blackness as something positive and useful in the anti racist battle. These artists work and struggle daily not only in their bodies and individualities, but also transforming the communities and the city they live in, feeding from diverse references both from Brazil and the World. A documentary on blackness, queerness and spacial aspirations of the diaspora's children.
