From standing up to homophobia to exploring identities and defiantly transitioning despite all obstacles, these films explore the challenges – and celebrate the victories - of existing while black and queer.

Khalil, a young black rapper in Philly, is a rising star in the underground Rap Battle scene. He wins the semi-finals of The Cypher, giving him the chance to battle the fierce legend, Yung Reap, in the Final Battle. When Khalil goes to celebrate his success, we understand who he really is outside of the rap arena. No one knows the truth, not even his little sister Kiki. But when she discovers his secret, Kiki unwittingly sets in motion events that might destroy her brother's chances for success.
