Two little girls fight off and evade a monster who clearly underestimates their abilities!
Juror's comments: Hide! is a thriller that is safe enough for young kids to watch. The ending is both a surprise and very satisfying.
The storyline follows two little girls that trick and evade a monster who underestimates them. The plot is simply about two girls trying to evade a "monster" in their house and they scurry from room to room, from cellar to attic, hiding under the stairs and narrowly escaping the monster at every turn. The camera work is quite good, with lots of interesting shots and angles. The sound effects really help build suspense and keep you on the edge of your seat. We only see the monster's feet until the end. My favorite parts are the cool stomping scenes.
The messages is to never underestimate your opponent.
I give this film 4.5 out of 5 star and recommend it for ages 10 to 18, By Avalon N. and Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
