Synopsis: Saturday Club is a preschool animation that strengthens social and emotional skills and helps to build kids’ capacity for empathy.

The story follows the adventures of four friends – Tian, Jo, Suzie, and Jamie – who meet in a play den each Saturday to discuss their week. Each episode introduces a situation where preschoolers have to put themselves in others’ shoes and think about how others feel.

Juror comments: Quite fun and imaginative. Love the colors of the animation, so suitable for preschoolers. The length and pace of the storyline is perfect, just long enough for a "teachable moment" without getting too stuffy or detailed. I'd love to see more episodes from the show as this one definitely peaked my interest. The voices are of British kids, which pose a bit of a challenge for some US audiences. However, that seems to be disappearing at least in some parts of the country. I definitely feel this would be a hit at a KIDS FIRST!
