After his father’s death, Alex returns home and must choose between staying to care for his mentally ill brother or returning to his life overseas.

Kostas Moutsoulas is a Greek Australian filmmaker based in Melbourne. He made his directorial debut with the short film Bitter Honey in 2024, which screened at the 7th Greece International Film Festival. His work gravitates toward diverse stories and underrepresented voices, often exploring identity, family, and emotional conflict. Born in Greece and later moving to his second home, Australia, he once saw the English language as a limitation, but it led him toward a more visual form of storytelling. He aims to tell stories that offer just enough for audiences to complete them through their own emotional lens and lived experience.
