On his 75th birthday, a man recalls his encounter with a mysterious woman in 1970s Athens, at the height of military government rule.

Ranw Aso-Rashid is the CEO/Founder of AR Studios. He is an award-winning science teacher and filmmaker. The studio’s films have earned BIFA qualification, awards and nominations at BAFTA- and BIFA-qualifying festivals, with streaming releases on Amazon Prime (ShortsTV), MYM Media, and Minute Shorts.  The company’s 2025-26 slate spans six active productions, including two confidential titles across two continents. Its debut feature documentary The Lost Photography of Kurdistan — a large-budget international co-production executive produced by BAFTA nominee Clare Richards — has begun filming. This slate also includes major sci-fi film and series Project Helios in partnership with Epic Studios. In 2025, AR Studios launched the AR Studios Filmmakers’ Network, a curated global initiative connecting elite creative and technical talent in cinema and television.
