Chameleons is a story about Joana, an actress who suffers from bipolar disorder, just like her mother and grandmother. Joana's grandmother, Dona Ditinha, lives with this disorder well. Her mother does not. Joana doesn't know yet if she will be like her mother or her grandmother. Through the letters that Joana writes to her grandmother, the testimonials of bipolar artists and a documentary about chameleons, we can follow the doubts and anguishes of those who live with bipolar disorder.
