Gemma is an award-winning stop motion director from London specializing in humor. Gemma started her career as an actress and comedian and moved into screenwriting; graduating from Royal Holloway University of London with an MA (dist.) in screenwriting.
Gemma started learning stop motion animation just 2 years ago and has since made 4 short films, 3 of which have won 5 festival awards. Her first 2 films from the ‘Hoe Street’ series were screened across the globe and are currently distributed by Aardman Animations.
