Ulster University's Cinematic Arts students showcase a selection of short films, in association with Nerve Centre and Cinema For All, supported by Film Hub NI through BFI FAN Network.

This film programme is presented by Ulster University Cinematic Arts students as part of their dramatic short film module showcase for 2021. Students were mentored by Industry experts from the Nerve Centre and Cinema for All in film programming and audience development as part of an initiative to grow young audiences funded by Film Hub NI as part of the BFI Film Audience Network.

This film programme is themed on female empowerment and choice. ‘Your Choice’ is a female empowered organisation that allows women across the globe to connect with us and share their different outlooks of their own experience. By showcasing films that resonate close to home to a broad range of women, it allows us to share light on a different range of topics further providing insight and awareness. Screening alongside It’s Not That Simple is the short animation Good Intentions directed by Anna Mantzaris.

Special thanks to the Nerve Centre, Cinema for All & Film Hub NI.
