Ulster University's Cinematic Arts students showcase a selection of short films, in association with Nerve Centre and Cinema For All, supported by Film Hub NI through BFI FAN Network.

This film programme is presented by Ulster University Cinematic Arts students as part of their dramatic short film module showcase for 2021. Students were mentored by Industry experts from the Nerve Centre and Cinema for All in film programming and audience development as part of an initiative to grow young audiences funded by Film Hub NI as part of the BFI Film Audience Network.

This programme focuses on themes of trust and how it is formed or not formed in relationship. Planted, created by the 2nd year Cinematic Arts class looks at the negative emotions that can stem from lack of trust.

Screening alongside Planted is Double Word Score directed by Keith Allott which premiered as part of Watershed’s Super Short Filmmaking programme and Encounters Film Festival.

Special thanks to the Nerve Centre, Cinema for All & Film Hub NI.
